The 32 Form (Competition Form) t'ai chi ch'uan (Taijiquan) is the standard Wushu competition form which combines movements drawn from the Chen, Yang, Wu, and Sun styles.

This is form is useful as a prelude to the Official 42 International Competition tai chi form..

The movements are:

    1st section:
  1. Commencing form
  2. Grasp the bird’s tail
  3. Single whip
  4. Strum the lute
  5. Parry, deflect and punch
  6. Apparent close-up
  7. Brush knee, twist step
  8. 2nd section:
  9. Single whip
  10. Cloud hands x3
  11. Part wild horse’s mane x2
  12. Needle at sea bottom
  13. Fan through the back/flash arms
  14. Grasp the bird’s tail
  15. 3rd section:
  16. Turn body and punch
  17. Roll back and press hands
  18. Right toe kick – hand hitting toes
  19. Left toe kick
  20. Right kick with fists
  21. Step up and punch downwards
  22. Fair lady works the shuttles x2
  23. 4th section:
  24. Left fist under right elbow/step back with left leg
  25. Repulse monkey X3
  26. Snakes creeps down
  27. Golden cock stands on one leg
  28. Snakes creeps down
  29. Cross fists
  30. 5th section:
  31. Step back open hands
  32. Turn lotus kick
  33. Shoot the tiger
  34. Grasp the bird’s tail
  35. Apparent close up
  36. Closing the tai chi
